The final day of the provincial cricket season is upon us

The final day of the provincial cricket season is upon us

In Dunedin, Northern Districts require seven wickets to beat Otago and claim the Plunket Shield for the first time since 2012, which would mark the perfect end to Neil Wagner's career in New Zealand.

The hosts are 120 for three, chasing 407 for victory.

If ND aren't victorious, that leaves the door ajar for second-placed Wellington who require seven wickets to beat Canterbury in the capital - the visitors are 28 for three in pursuit of 392.

    Both games resume at 10:30.
