    Heavy rain and probably the strongest winds seen this week on the Tour of Southland are making the final stage even more gruelling


    Early on stage eight from Winton to Invercargill, second-placed Cambridge rider Matthew Wilson, who won this morning's individual time trial, is up near the front of the pack.

    Wilson's win today has cut defending local champion Josh Burnett's overall lead down to just 10 seconds.
