Fonterra doesn't see an end in sight, to the growing demand for dairy

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
The dairy co-op's confirmed a final milk payout of 10-dollars-16 for last season, and is continuing to forecast a payout of 10-dollars for this season.

It expects demand for dairy to keep growing steadily, by about two-percent a year, particularly in Asia.

Fonterra Chair Peter McBride says it's in a good position to benefit from that increasing demand.

He says Latin America is producing more and the US can increase production quickly, but supply from Europe is continuing to drop.
