    Former Zespri chairman Peter McBride will lead the boardroom of the country's largest company

    McBride is set to become chairman of Fonterra when retiring leader John Monaghan ends two decades of service to the dairy giant in November.

    McBride says Monaghan will leave behind a board culture of shared responsibility.

    He plans to build on this as the new chairman.
