    Trade and Export Growth Minister Damien O'Connor is supporting Fonterra's removal of business in Russia

    The co-op is closing its office in Moscow, re-deploying staff where possible and withdrawing from its joint venture with Unifood

    It is already stopping exports to Russia - making up about 1 percent of annual shipments.

    O'Connor says it's an understandable commercial decision for Fonterra.
