    Analysts are anticipating this morning's full year result will confirm Fonterra has had its most profitable year yet

    Strong demand and tight supply for dairy products has driven farmgate milk prices to record levels.

    Iron Duke Capital's Phil O'Reilly, says as New Zealand's largest exporter, Fonterra's profits will ripple through the economy.

    He says New Zealand is likely to face a recession next year so we'll need export dollars pulling us through, and Fonterra looks like it'll be able to deliver.
