The dairy giant says it'll use new technology, remove carbon through vegetation, and change farm practices to reduce emissions 30-percent by 2030.
Federated Farmers President Wayne Langford says it's important farmers know a target's in place, and they're on track to meet it.
He says the goals are ambitious but he expects farmers will be waking up with a bit more direction.
Langford says farmers are already doing a lot of work on reductions.
