    A welcome sight for Tom Walsh as he bids to become a national champion again in men's shot put


    Long-time rival - and defending champion - Jacko Gill will venture to Dunedin for the meet.

    Walsh has had two domestic competitions this summer since returning from a groin injury suffered at the Paris Olympics.

    He says Gill's presence is important.



    The final begins at 5.20pm.
