    Canterbury and distance runner Angie Petty is enjoying the opportunity to compete at home

    Canterbury and distance runner Angie Petty is enjoying the opportunity to compete at home


    Christchurch lost its athletics track at QEII in the 2011 earthquake, but will today host the South Island championships at the new Nga Puna Wai sports hub.

    Petty says due to the damaged facilities she's never professionally used a hometown track, until this year.
