    Pole vaulter Eliza McCartney has clinched the automatic qualifying mark for this year's world championships in Budapest


    She's won the Brisbane Track Classic event with a best vault of 4.71m.

    McCartney comfortably beat compatriot Olivia McTaggart, who had already reached the qualifying mark previously.

    New Zealand's sprinters Zoe Hobbs and Eddie Osei-Nketia won their 100m races, the latter before he switches to American football.
