Kiwi Olympic silver medalist Hayden Wilde leads the Super Triathlon series heading into the season finale

Kiwi Olympic silver medalist Hayden Wilde leads the Super Triathlon series heading into the season finale

A third place finish in Toulouse has provided a five point buffer for next month's decider in Saudi Arabia.

Wilde lost a shoe just before the final sprint to the line - and while he's disappointed to miss out on a third straight win, he says it was still a good result.

Frenchman Leo Bergere is second overall, with third-placed Tim Hellwig a further two points adrift.
