    Olympic champion Hamish Kerr has only had himself to compete against at the International Track Meet in Christchurch


    The high jump gold medallist in Paris has won the meet in the Garden City with a best leap of 2.30m.

    He didn't enter the competition until 2.15m, after the rest of the field had exited at 2.06m.

    Kerr is happy with his day out.



    Tom Walsh won the men's shot put while Zoe Hobbs enjoyed victories in the 60m and 100m.
