    A person is seriously injured after a car and cyclist collided in Somerfield in Christchurch


    Emergency services are at the intersection of Selwyn Street and Somerfield Street.

    Police say early reports indicate one person is seriously injured.

    The intersection is closed and there are diversions in place.

    Motorists are advised to avoid the area, if possible.
