    Kiwi cyclist Reuben Thompson has bided himself some extra time to brush up on his French


    The 20-year-old has earned spot on the UCI World Tour in 2023, racing for prestigious French team Groupama-FDJ.

    Thompson will return for his second year with the continental team in 2022, before transitioning to the World Tour outfit.

    He says he can now understand his team briefs.
