Cyclist Rohan Dennis has avoided jail for his actions leading to his wife Melissa Hoskins' death in Adelaide on December 30, 2023

Cyclist Rohan Dennis has avoided jail for his actions leading to his wife Melissa Hoskins' death in Adelaide on December 30, 2023

Both were former Olympians who had two children together.

Dennis was issued a suspended sentence of 17 months, and was placed on a two-year good behaviour bond.

He has been disqualified from driving for five years.

The pair had argued over house renovations before Dennis drove off with Hoskins clinging to the bonnet.

She died when he sped up from an intersection allegedly not knowing his wife had fallen under the vehicle.
