Civil Defence response is one area for improvement following last year's Napier floods

Two independent reports have been released which look at the causes and aftermath of the flooding that hit the region in November.

One of which is being presented at a Hawke's Bay Civil defence committee meeting today.

Hawke's Bay Regional Council chairman Rick Barker says issues relating to the response have been brought up in the reports.

He says they now need to look at the report and identify the main issues being highlighted.
