Christchurch City Council is increasing its monitoring of feral pigs following a spate of attacks

Christchurch City Council is increasing its monitoring of feral pigs following a spate of attacks

It comes after two dogs have been injured by wild pigs at Bottle Lake Forest.

Council Head of Parks Andrew Rutledge says they've been provided with the location of the incident and will now look to increase monitoring in that area.

He says park rangers have been controlling feral pigs through trapping in Bottle Lake Forest for about three years.
