Jacinda Ardern wouldn't be drawn on The Opportunities Party's proposal for councils to control local cannabis regulations - if New Zealand votes Yes in October's referendum

Jacinda Ardern wouldn't be drawn on The Opportunities Party's proposal for councils to control local cannabis regulations - if New Zealand votes Yes in October's referendum

The minor party launched its drug policy today with a pop-up Amsterdam-style cafe.

The Labour leader says the draft legislation the public will vote on has very clear restrictions on who would be able to sell and buy cannabis.

Ardern says there needs to be consistency around that.
