A Christchurch City Councillor's disputing findings that removing a hospital parking lane will disrupt ambulance access

Council's two-week trial found taking it out for on-street parking could compromise ambulances, and increase travel times by up to 80-percent.
But Councillor Aaron Keown says this isn't known for sure, and sirens should stop it being an issue.
He says vehicles pull out of the way, but this wasn't tested during the trial as no ambulances with lights on had to get through.
Keown believes some in council are trying to encourage alternative transport, by not adding car parks.
