Questions are being raised about how regional lockdowns would affect businesses

Questions are being raised about how regional lockdowns would affect businesses

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has outlined the next steps in the Covid-19 response plan, revealing that separate regions would be moved up alert levels to try to contain any outbreak.

Business New Zealand chief executive Kirk Hope says they need more details before they can be confident in the plan.

He says there will be questions about how they would operate a localised lockdown, what are the measures need to followed to prevent people leaving the area and how will it be managed.
