There's a big jump in the number of homes being sold

The latest Real Estate Institute data shows the number of residential properties sold in July across New Zealand, increased by nearly 25 percent from the same time last year.
It's the highest number of properties sold in July for five years.
Four regions hit record high median prices - Waikato, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui and Taranaki.
Many regions almost reached, or surpassed, a 20 percent year-on-year increase in median house price.
