Farmers are creaming it and the economy will benefit

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
Fonterra has lifted its forecast Farmgate Milk Price.

The midpoint range is now 9-dollars-20 per kg of milk solids -- up 50 cents on the previous forecast.

The Country's Rowena Duncum says shareholders will receive about 25 to 35 cents per share this year, after years without a dividend.

She says everyone else will get a slice of the action too, because it equates to 13.8 billion dollars to the economy this season.
