    The cost of living continues to rise

    The cost of living continues to rise


    Stats NZ is reporting the cost for the average New Zealand household increased 3.8 percent annually to September.

    Inflation rose 2.2 percent.

    Stats NZ says the most recent high was 8.2 percent - recorded at the end of 2022.

    In the year to June, the cost of living increased 5.4 percent.
