The defunct Auckland construction company - which can't be named - has been ordered to pay 30-thousand dollars for its part in bid-rigging of public roading contracts.
MaxBuild Ltd was already sentenced last December, and ordered to pay 500-thousand dollars.
At a sentencing hearing in the High Court in Auckland, Justice Sally Fitzgerald said she'd have fined this second company 595-thousand dollars - if it could afford it.
The Commerce Commission says the outcome sets a precedent, and it will continue to act against such conduct.
