Wellington Water warns odour and plume may arise from the plant, and about one-kilometre west of the coast, as remediation works continue.
No new reports or complaints of stench have been made, and warnings remain for locals not to swim in the area or collect any seafood.
Wellington Water Chair Nick Leggett, says waste is flowing smoothly through the city's long outfall pipe.
He says plastics are being removed, and sewerage is being directed to deeper waters.
