Praise for the Budget Boost for Whangarei Hospital

Praise for the Budget Boost for Whangarei Hospital

The Government's reserved critical funding to complete the first stage of site's redevelopment - on top the 572-million dollars it dished out last year.

This year's amount will be determined once the Northland DHB submits a business case for the extra work needed.

Ngatiwai Trust Board Chief Executive Huhana Lyndon is pleased to see the money going towards infrastructure for the ageing hospital.

She's glad to see the government jump on board to help deliver the desperately needed upgrades.
