    The Tourism Minister says New Zealand is getting closer and closer to reconnecting with the world


    Stuart Nash has announced more than $5 million in funding, including support for i-SITE visitor centres, the TRENZ tourism trade show and industry body Regional Tourism New Zealand.

    The extra funds have been raised from the the International Conservation And Tourism Levy.

    Mr Nash is encouraging young people to get into the tourism sector.

    He says the job potential is endless and there are many good things happening.
