More than half of New Zealanders worry daily or weekly - about money

The Financial Services Council's latest annual Finance Resilience Index, shows people are still feeling the cost of living crisis.

Chief Executive Kirk Hope told The Herald's Prosperity Project podcast, resilience is low.

He says 30 percent of people say their savings would last less than a month, if they lost their job.

He says there's no doubt there's emotional and psychological consequences and the key is understanding what could happen in a crisis.
