The Powerball's reached ten million dollars in a must be won prize tonight, as Lotto prepares for a technology upgrade

The Powerball's reached ten million dollars in a must be won prize tonight, as Lotto prepares for a technology upgrade

If there are no winners in first division, the prize will roll down.

Lotto NZ Chief Executive Jason Delamore says having a smaller jackpot next week, makes their incoming upgrade for the online platform and terminals in stores easier.

He says the changes include new state-of-the-art Lotto terminals, a range of new Instant Kiwi online games, and changes to mandatory spending limits.

Delamore says they'll be in place by the end of the month.
