Expectations are high in the Maori All Blacks camp, ahead of the first of two midweek matches against Ireland

The Maori have a proud history against international teams, boasting a 70 percent winning record this century.

And they've beaten the Irish the only two times they've played each other - first, way back in 1888... as the New Zealand Natives... and again in 2010, in Rotorua.

So coach Clayton McMillan's got plenty of confidence ahead of tonight's opener in Hamilton.
