The NRL's match review committee has opted not to charge any Queensland players, after claims of an eye-gouging in last night's women's State of Origin opener

The NRL's match review committee has opted not to charge any Queensland players, after claims of an eye-gouging in last night's women's State of Origin opener

New South Wales hooker Keeley Davis claimed she was eye-gouged in the first half of their 32-12 win.

But the match review committee could not find conclusive video evidence, despite poring over multiple angles of the alleged incident.

Davis was contacted and asked whether she wanted to persist with the matter, after she lodged an official complaint with the referee.
