Tall Blacks forward Reuben Te Rangi believes the Breakers' local vision under new ownership is a slam dunk for the national team

The 30-year-old is part of a quartet of New Zealand players signed to the NBL club during the offseason.

Te Rangi says the Tall Blacks and the Breakers will benefit from the local movement.

New Zealand take on Australia in the opening game of their trans-Tasman series tonight in Adelaide.

Tip off is at 10:25pm - with the Tall Ferns in action from ten past 8 against the Opals.
