Warriors co-captain Mitch Barnett's firming for New South Wales State of Origin selection, with reports he's been told to not jump on a plane back home with the team

Sydney's Daily Telegraph reports that while the rest of the Warriors squad has headed home after the win over the Dolphins in Brisbane yesterday, Barnett is bound for Sydney.

But it's not such good news for Warriors teammate Kurt Capewell, with Brisbane's Courier Mail reporting he's been overlooked for Queensland and flew back to New Zealand this morning.

While Barnett was expected to be named, it will likely leave the Warriors without both first choice props next week with James Fisher-Harris starting at a one-match ban.

The sides are expected to be officially named in the next 24 hours.
