New Zealand sides have only supplied six players to Super Rugby's honorary team of the year, despite contributing four of the six play-off contenders

Australian teams provide seven players, with one each from Moana Pasifika and the Fijian Drua.

The First XV is voted on by coaches and captains throughout the season.

Ardie Savea earned the most votes with 46.

The table-topping Chiefs only contributed Damian McKenzie, the Hurricanes and Blues had two representatives each, the Highlanders one and the Crusaders... none.
