Novak Djokovic is refusing to get ahead of himself at tennis' US Open as he takes one step closer to a sixth title

The 38-year-old Serbian's marched into the quarterfinals with an emphatic fourth round performance.

So would it be Djokovic's greatest achievement if he won his 25th Grand Slam title - after a two year drought?

Djokovic's next assignment is against Taylor Fritz, while Carlos Alcaraz is also through to the last eight.

Top seed Aryna Sabalenka and fourth seed Jessica Pegula have both advanced to the women's quarterfinals.
