Former All Blacks centre Craig Innes believes the return of prominent rugby age-grade representative tournaments can potentially fix a pathways issue

Former All Blacks centre Craig Innes believes the return of prominent rugby age-grade representative tournaments can potentially fix a pathways issue

It comes after the New Zealand Schools team were thrashed by the Australian under-18s in a pair of fixtures across the Tasman.

Innes says competitions such as Roller Mills - the under-13, weight-restricted tournament scrapped in 2019 - would benefit the development of top young players.
