Head groundsman Matt Page and his team have come under fire after leaving 10 millimetres of grass on the pitch, which contributed to 36 wickets falling in just 142 overs.

The early finish has reportedly led to Cricket Australia losing 10-million dollars in revenue.

Fox is backing Page despite the mishap.
