    Australian cricket coach Andrew McDonald looks poised to pick off spinner Todd Murphy for the fifth and final Ashes test starting January 4 in Sydney


    Murphy was in the squad for the two-day loss in Melbourne, but not picked for the XI due to the seam-friendly nature of the MCG pitch.

    McDonald says the 25-year-old's ready, if conditions align.
