Codie Taylor is poised to join Keven Mealamu as the second hooker to play 100 tests for the All Blacks

Codie Taylor is poised to join Keven Mealamu as the second hooker to play 100 tests for the All Blacks

The 34-year-old will become the 14th player to bring up the milestone in Sunday's Rugby Championship match against Argentina at Buenos Aires.

Taylor debuted against the same opponent a decade ago, scoring a try off the bench in Christchurch.

    He's started 66 of his 99 tests - re-establishing himself as a first-choice selection after being overtaken by Samisoni Taukei'aho in 2022.

The side for Sunday's test is named tomorrow morning.

You can read more from that exclusive interview with Codie Taylor at nzherald.co.nz.
