To a round up of international cricket overnight..

Australia have beaten England by six wickets, chasing 245 with 9.3 overs to spare in their pool match at the women's World Cup.

The defending champions return to the top of the table on 11 points with one round robin game to play.

Pakistan are 94 for four, a 23-run lead over South Africa at stumps on the third day of their second test at Rawalpindi.

Kagiso Rabada made 71 in a 98-run 10th-wicket stand as part of the Proteas' 404.

That's the highest score by a South African number 11.

Zimbabwe left-arm quick Richard Ngarava has returned figures of five for 37 to skittle Afghanistan for 159 and help win their one-off test by an innings and 73 runs on the third day in Harare.

The hosts had won one of their previous 17 red-ball fixtures.

Jofra Archer is unavailable for England's first one-day international against New Zealand on Sunday at Mt Maunganui's Bay Oval, a ground which holds unwelcome memories.

The decision is not injury-related and instead tailored to suit his Ashes build-up - he is set to arrive in New Zealand on Saturday alongside fellow pace bowlers Mark Wood and Josh Tongue.

Archer played his first overseas test at the ground in November 2019, with England criticised for over-bowling him - he was also racially abused by a spectator.
