Crisis averted in the women's Tauihi basketball league

Crisis averted in the women's Tauihi basketball league

League officials have been scrambling to get the Tokomanawa Queens to Christchurch in time for tonight's round five match with the Mainland Pouakai.

The original flight from Wellington was cancelled due to wild winds.

However, half the roster got on flights last night, and the remainder touched down in Christchurch this morning.

    Tip off is at 7.30.
