    Tyrel Lomax is closing in on a return to top level rugby after five months sidelined


    The All Blacks and Hurricanes prop missed the last five tests of the 2025 season after breaking his thumb for a second time in quick succession.

    While he won't play this week for the 'Canes, coach Clark Laidlaw says he'll get more time for their reserve side and will then be available for a Super Rugby return.
