    The Government's taking a bite out of loan sharks


    The Credit Contracts Legislation Amendment Bill has passed its third reading.

    Commerce and Consumer Affairs Minister Kris Faafoi says too many Kiwis get unaffordable and unsuitable loans - trapping them in debt.

    The new legislation is taking effect on April 1, 2021.
