Americold managing director Richard Winnall says there's no link between an outbreak of Covid-19 at their Melbourne facility and cases in Auckland

Americold managing director Richard Winnall says there's no link between an outbreak of Covid-19 at their Melbourne facility and cases in Auckland

Four employees at the company's Mt Wellington coolstore have tested positive for the virus ... with more tests yet to come back.

Winnall says the facility in Melbourne is a totally different supply chain.

He says products are going in different directions - and from different sources.

He says he sees no relationship at all, and he's made a lot of inquiries to satisfy himself of that.
