Questions about the Clean Car Discount

Questions about the Clean Car Discount

Rebates of up to eight thousand six hundred and 25 dollars for new electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles come in next month.

It's predicted 19 thousand additional clean vehicles will on the road in the first year of the scheme.

But, the Motor Trade Association's Greig Epps says we need to think about what to do with the existing fleet of five and half million vehicles.

He says they are pushing for a scrapping scheme to help clear out old cars so we can bring in new EVs.
