Survivors of sexual abuse at Auckland's Dilworth School want the re-dress scheme to be a survivor-led process

Survivors of sexual abuse at Auckland's Dilworth School want the re-dress scheme to be a survivor-led process

Earlier this year the school announced it would make payments to abused students, with more than 100 boys thought to have been victims over a 40-year period.

Dilworth Class Action Representative and abuse survivor, Neil Harding, says a letter's been sent to the school's board, warning them not to create a re-dress scheme, without meaningful input from survivors.

He says until the board gets proper feedback from survivors, they risk re-traumatising those who were abused.
