A change to the label for some Covid cases

A change to the label for some Covid cases

From today, those previously called 'border cases' will now be classified as "imported".

The Ministry of Health says the change in terminology reflects that although they've arrived from overseas, most will be isolating in the community here.

    Today, that number is 47.

Meanwhile, we have 7061 new community cases, and five deaths.

The seven-day rolling average of community cases is 7702 - last Monday it was 7479.

There are 415 people in hospital, 11 in ICU.
