    The Liberal-National coalition is promising to save billions of dollars over the next four years by cutting the public service.

    Australian correspondent Murray Olds says it's pledging to lift the public sector Efficiency Dividend ... from one-and-a-half to two percent.

    The union says that will cut the number of public servants by over five and a half thousand.
