    A British Conservative MP has been banned from Parliament while under investigation of rape


    The unnamed MP has been arrested over alleged indecent assault, abuse of a position of trust, and misconduct in public office.

    London's Metropolitan Police say there's been a two-year investigation into offences between 2002 and 2009.

    The suspect remains in custody.
