Grant Robertson says he's been thinking long-term during his work on today's Budget

Grant Robertson says he's been thinking long-term during his work on today's Budget

The Finance Minister has just spoken publicly for the final time before the Budget's released at 2pm.

Robertson says the Government needs to address climate change, and provide a health system that looks after all people in all parts of the country.

He says that will require long-term investment.

Robertson says the Government needs to support people in the here and now, but it has to balance that out with addressing the issues of tomorrow.
